About QD
A project born from the desire to create something quite delicious for the everyday that won’t hurt our tomorrow. In a rapidly changing and trend-driven world, these wines are crafted with sustainability and “slow produce” front of mind. We search for beautiful fruit grown by people who care, and do our utmost to make the smallest impact we can. An exercise in patience and perseverance, we allow these wines to quietly develop in their own time.
QD Wines is an ever evolving labour of love for winemaker and Riesling tragic, Hannah Maltby. Each turn along the road has been made firmly in the belief that we don’t have to be perfect all of the time to build a better world - one small better decision every day is all it takes. From low-intensity winemaking and alternative paper stock to lighter glass and recycled closures, this project aims to make each bottle of wine just a little bit better than the one before.
